Meade Betts, born in Dover, New Jersey on August 2, 1948 and grew up in
the neighboring town of Rockaway. After attending public and private
school in New Jersey and New York he traveled extensively throughout
the United States before settling in Bucksport, Maine USA.
Besides his pursuits in writing, David Betts is a manufacturer of tree
growing kits which are distributed throughout the US and Canada. He
